Bud Gillies

Bud Gillies is a contemporary working artist based in Winnipeg, Canada. Gillies' primary medium is ceramic but also creates oil paintings and murals. Gillies’ work is found in many private and public collections and has participated in many group shows across the country in commercial and public galleries. His work appears in the collections of the Winnipeg Art Gallery, Great West Life and the Government of Manitoba. In 2018, Gillies opened “Vessels and Frescoes” at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Gillies continues to produce artwork and teach classes in Winnipeg.
