Pierre Gaboriau
Pierre Gaboriau was born Pierre LaPalme in New York in 1935. He is the son of Robert LaPalme and adopted the pseudonym Gaboriau (also known as Gabo) to distinguish himself from his father. Gaboriau studied art at the Collège Étienne in Paris in 1953, and at the École des Beaux-Arts de Montréal from 1954 to 1959.
